The cities of Weiser, Payette, Fruitland and New Plymouth, Idaho as well as Ontario, Nyssa, and Vale, Oregon have all improved their water and sewer facilities which were all built for expansion preparing for the future.

 

Idaho Power provides service for the region, with the exception of Weiser, Idaho. Idaho Power rates for business and industrial use is 4-6 cents kWh.

 

Within the Weiser, Idaho city limites, electric power rates for a large business run about 3 cents kWh, plus demand charges and minimum monthly service charge.

 

Intermountain Gas provides natural gas to Western Idaho. Rate for users above 200,000 therms to 250,000 is $0.57143 plus commodity charge of $0.05913; to 500,000 therms is $0.53294 plus commodity charge of $0.02064; and up to 750,000 therms is $0.44686 plus commodity charge of $0.00591.
