Our Goals
Attract and relocate new business and industry to the Tri-County area. Assist in the retention and growth of existing business and industry. Improve the positive business image of the Tri-County region. Support the coordination of education and training efforts for the preparation of the current and future workforce. Enhance the community's competitive edge through regional and national marketing efforts.Remove relocation obstacles by facilitating cooperation between state, county and local governmental entities working with private enterprise.
Organization Structure
The Snake River Economic Development Alliance s a non-profit 501(c)6 organization.
The SREDA is supported by the Tri-County area and includes the cities of Weiser, Payette, Fruitland, New Plymouth, Ontario, Vale and Nyssa. Other funding sources include private business membership dues, grants and volunteer contributions.
Memberships in the corporation are held on an annual calendar-year basis. Each membership holds one vote of business conducted at the annual meeting.
The main office is located at Treasure Valley Community College.
Activities of the organization are governed by a 12 member, volunteer board of directors.

About Us
Our members are diverse in make-up, including economic development professionals along with all other types of supporters of economic development. SREDA members share a common objective, namely quality job creation and economic stability. Our members are rural and urban, public and private, for profit and not-for-profit, individual communities, counties and regional groups.
